土地貸付事業
財団が所有する土地（森林、宅地等）は、全域が国立公園特別地域、保安林、鳥獣保護区に重複して、あるいは単独で指定され、さらに阿寒湖温泉街は、国立公園集団施設地区に指定されているなど、公益性が強く求められるものとなっています。このため、地域の振興に資するため、適正な利用と保全管理に努めています。
阿寒湖温泉土地所有区分
温泉街における所有地については、大部分を大型ホテルなどの宿泊施設や商業施設、公共施設、個人向け住宅施設等として貸付を行っています。
この収益は、森林保全事業と自然普及事業のために役立てています。
貸付現況
（平成31年3月現在）
公共性の高い施設（アイヌコタン、キャンプ場、公園等）については地域振興のため、無償で貸付を行っています。
学校や公営住宅等の公共施設敷地については、財団設立前に三代目園主前田光子が旧阿寒町等に寄付しています。
